I Will Wait on Thee
This is a hymn I composed with thoughts of feeling found, heard, healed, loved, owned, renewed, and redeemed by Jesus Christ, even in great difficulty.
In Spanish, the word for “wait” and “hope” is the same word. I hoped to convey to anyone who feels lost, alone, forgotten, or forsaken that, because of the perfect love of a perfect Savior, we can find reassurance and resilience to “wait on the Lord” and trust in Him “who is mighty to save.”
I know that, as we wait on Him and have a “perfect brightness of hope” in Him, He can give us “beauty for ashes.”
